Mike McKenzie, a Navy veteran and Embry-Riddle alumnus, founded Vision of Flight in 2011 to empower our nation's youth and introduce them to aviation and other STEM careers. Since before Mike was 12 years old, he had always wanted to fly. Today, he aims to spark that same passion for aviation into the next generation as he manages and organizes all of the Vision of Flight events. He hopes to teach the youth that they have the opportunity for greatness and that the skies are for everybody.

Vision of Flight is an Orlando, Florida-based 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to providing students (starting as young as 10 years old) with a hands-on introduction to the myriad careers available to them in the aviation and aerospace fields.
