I would like to attend Otronicon to experience the military’s technological simulations involving flight, flight physiology, and flight prepration i.e. flight simulators. I would also like to find more information about the technological advancement in today’s world of flight by having thorough conversations with pilots and engineers. After all it is the “Vision of Flight” we hope to not only instill in other, but also to find in others as we soar through life with a new eagle-eye perspective.

I am 12 yrs old. I would love to attend the Otronicon trip. Ever since I was a little kid, I have been interested in all types of aircrafts. My mother has invested in flight simulator games to encourage and keep me motivated in my dream of becoming a pilot in the military one day. This gives me the opportunity to be in an environment that makes me feel my gift is not meaningless.

    • Good Morning Caleb,

Thank you for reaching out to Vision of Flight about the Otronicon trip. Which flight simulator are you using? Honestly, that is how I started my aviation career, too. It is amazing how much you can learn from a simulator. Is it the Microsoft one? If so, check out http://www.FlightSim.com. You can download different aircraft, scernery, airports, etc.

Caleb, we’d love to have you join us for the Otronicon trip and look forward to meeting you. Have your friends go to our Facebook page and “LIKE” it. Everything that we do can be seen on Facebook. You can learn about our next “FLY DAY”, too. That’s where we take you to an airport, put you in the BIG simulators and then take you up and let you fly an actual plane. Vision of Flight can guide you down the right path and open those doors to your military flying career.

It’s the Pro flight simulator. She has it on layaway at the Navyexchange. She will be getting it out before Christmas. So far I have done the simulator at the Science center a couple of times and discovery flight at zellwood airport.
