On November 11, 2014, Vision Of Flight CEO (Mike McKenzie) was made an honorary Red Tail Pilot at the monument dedication, held at the Orlando Science Center. Mr. McKenzie was given this honor for his selfless dedication and work to have the monument built.
Lt. Col. Leo Gray presented Mr. McKenzie and monument financier, Syd Levy, with this incredible honor, announcing them as the LAST Red Tails to be named.
